After 2 full jugs of fruit juice were removed from it, the level of fruit juice in the container dropped by ¹₃ cm. The remaining fruit juice was then drained out through a tap found at the bottom of the container at a rate of 4 litres per min.

1. How much fruit juice can each jug hold? Express your answer in cm³.
2. How long would it take to completely drain the fruit juice from the container through the tap? Express your answer in min.

Capacity of 2 jugs
= ¹₃ x 90 x 90
= 2700 mℓ

Capacity of each jug
= 2700 ÷ 2
= 1350 mℓ

(b)
70% = ⁷⁰₁₀₀ = ⁷₁₀

Volume of the tank at 70% capacity 
= ⁷₁₀ x 90 x 90 x 90
= 510300 cm³

Volume of fruit juice to drain completely from the container
= 510300 - 2700
= 507600 cm³

1 ℓ = 1000 cm³ 
3 ℓ = 4000 cm³

Time taken to drain fruit juice
= 507600 ÷ 4000
= 126.9 min
