Volume of water leaked per minute = 400 + 300 = 700 cm3
Volume of water leaked in 6 minutes = 6 x 700 = 4200 cm3
Base area of the tank = 60 x 10 = 600 cm3
Decrease in height of water = 4200 ÷ 600 = 7 cm
Height of water in the tank after 6 min = 15 - 7 = 8 cm

Solution
Volume of water leaked per minute = 400 + 300 = 700 cm3
Volume of water leaked in 6 minutes = 6 x 700 = 4200 cm3
Base area of the tank = 60 x 10 = 600 cm3
Decrease in height of water = 4200 ÷ 600 = 7 cm
Height of water in the tank after 6 min = 15 - 7 = 8 cm
Answer(s): 8 cm3
