The total number of apricot buns made up 44% of the total number of buns they made. How many apricot buns did they make altogether?

Number of blueberry buns in percent
= 100% - 44%
= 56%

1 u + 49 + 1 p = 44% --- (1)
1 u + 1 p + 121 = 56% --- (2)

56% - 44% = 121 - 49
12% = 72

1% = 72 ÷ 12 = 6
