Cost of 3 jackets
= 3 x 1 u

Cost of 1 jumpsuit = 3 u

Cost of 1 jumpsuit and 3 jackets

Fraction of Opal's money spent on each jacket
= ¹₆ x ¹₇
= ¹₄₂

¹₇ of her money = 6 u
⁶₇ of her money = 6 x 6 u = 36 u

Opal's remaining money = 36 u

Cost of the bracelet
= ¹₂ x 36 u
= 18 u

Amount that Opal spent more on the bracelet than on the 3 jackets
= 18 u - 3 u
= 15 u

15 u = 210

1 u = 210 ÷ 15 = 14

⁷₇ of her money = 7 x 6 u = 42 u
