On Saturday, the number of adults to boys to girls visiting a theme park was 7 : 10 : 8. On Sunday, the number of adults visiting the theme park remained the same. However, the number of boys increased by 50% and the number of girls decreased by 25%.

1. What was the ratio of the number of adults to boys to girls visiting the theme park on Sunday?
2. On Saturday, 594 boys and girls visited the theme park. What was the total number of visitors at the theme park on Sunday?

= 50% x 10 u

= 10 u + 5 u
= 15 u

Number of girls on Sunday
= 8 u - 2 u
= 6 u

On Sunday
Adults : Boys : Girls
7 : 15 : 6

= 10 u + 8 u
= 18 u

18 u = 594

1 u = 594 ÷ 18 = 33

Total number of visitors on Sunday
= 7 u + 15 u + 6 u
= 28 u
= 28 x 33
= 924
