To find the greatest increase, look for the steepest increase in the line graph.

To prove:
Increase in height from May (5) to June (6) = 50 - 39 = 11 cm
Increase in height from June (6) to July (7) = 56 - 50 = 6 cm
Increase in height from July (7) to August (8) = 64 - 56 = 8 cm
Increase in height from August (8) to September (9) = 70 - 64 = 6 cm

Period which the plant grew the most = May (5) to June (6)
