1. Find the percentage of pens in Box G.
2. What fraction of stationery in Box H is pens?
3. The number of pens in Box G is 280. Find the number of pens in Box H.

Percentage of pens in Box G
= 100% - 40% - 25%
= 35%

Percentage of pens in Box H
= 100% - 45% - 20%
= 35%

Fraction of stationery in Box H that is pens
= ⁷₂₀

35% of stationery in Box G = 280
1% of stationery in Box G = 280 ÷ 35 = 8 
100% of the stationery in Box G = 100 x 8 = 800

Number of stationery in Box H
= 800 ÷ 4
= 200

100% of stationery in Box H = 200
1% of stationery in Box G = 200 ÷ 100 = 2
35% of stationery in Box G = 35 x 2 = 70  

Number of pens in Box H = 70
