Let 1 B be 1 blue bag.
Let 1 V be 1 violet bag.
5 u = 50 B
1 u = 10 B --- (1)
1 u = 10 V --- (2)

10 B = 10 V
1 B = 10 ÷ 10 = 1 V
1 B + 3 V = 12 --- (3)
Substitute 1 B = 1 V into (3).
1 V + 3 V = 12
4 V = 12
1 V = 12 ÷ 4 = 3

1 u = 10 x 3 = 30

= 5 u + 1 u
