Let 1 B be 1 blue bag.
Let 1 V be 1 violet bag.
3 u = 6 B
1 u = 2 B --- (1)
1 u = 16 V --- (2)
(1) = (2)
2 B = 16 V
1 B = 16 ÷ 2 = 8 V
1 B + 2 V = 90 --- (3)
Substitute 1 B = 8 V into (3).
8 V + 2 V = 90
10 V = 90
1 V = 90 ÷ 10 = 9

1 u = 16 V
1 u = 16 x 9 = 144
Number of candy sticks that Roshel had at first
= 3 u + 1 u
= 4 u
= 4 x 144
