A basket contained brown and yellow stickers. There were 60% more brown stickers than yellow stickers. When 26  stickers were removed from the basket, the amount of brown stickers decreased by 25% and the amount of yellow stickers decreased 90%. How many stickers were in the basket in the end?

= 90% x 5 u
= ⁹⁰₁₀₀ x 5 u
= 4.5 u

Total number of stickers that were removed from the basket
= 2 u + 4.5 u
= 6.5 u

6.5 u = 26

1 u = 26 ÷ 6.5 = 4

Number of stickers in the basket in the end
= 6 u + 0.5 
= 6.5 u
= 6.5 x 4
= 26
