Before |
1 u |
3 u |
200 |
Change |
- ? |
- 30 |

After |
1 p |
5 p |
|
Number of tables and chairs at first
= 3 u + 1 u
= 200
4 u = 200
1 u = 200 ÷ 4 = 50
Number of chairs at first
= 3 u
= 3 x 50
= 150
Number of chairs left
= 150 - 30
= 120
5 p = 120
1 p = 120 ÷ 5 = 24
Number of tables thrown away from the tuckshop
= 50 - 24
= 26
Answer(s): 26
