Water that leaked from the crack
= 45 x 0.7
= 31.5 mℓ

Water that poured into the 3 containers
= 9 x (6 + 17 + 2 + 34 + 3)
= 9 x 62
= 558 cm³ 
= 558 mℓ

Total water that flowed from the tap
= 558 + 31.5
= 589.5 mℓ

Rate of water flow from the tap
= 589.5 ÷ 45
