Neave poured some water from Tank J into Tank K without spilling and the water level of Tank K rose to 28 cm. What was the height of water level left in Tank J?

35 ℓ = 35000 cm³
26.28 ℓ = 26.28 x 1000 = 26280 cm³

Height of water in Tank K at first
= 35000 ÷ 40 ÷ 35
= 25 cm

Increase in the height of water in Tank K

Volume of water poured into Tank K
