Capacity of the bottom container
= 10 x 10 x 10
= 1000 cm³

Capacity of the top container
= 2000 - 1000
= 1000 cm³

Base area of the top container
= ¹₂ x 10 x 10
= 50 cm²

Height of the water level of the top container
= 1000 ÷ 50
= 20 cm

Height of the water level
= 10 + 20
= 30 cm
