The number of chocolate bars that Elijah and Luke at first is the same.
5 u - 16 = 1 u + 12
5 u - 1 u = 12 + 16
4 u = 28
1 u = 28 ÷ 4 = 7
Number of chocolate bars that each of them had at first
= 1 u + 12
= 7 + 12
= 19
