The number of starfruits and oranges in the end is equal.

34 - 5 u = 14 - 1 u

1 u = 20 ÷ 4 = 5

Fanny ate for 5 days from Tuesday onwards.  At the end of Saturday, there would be an equal number of oranges and starfruits left.

Number of days from Tuesday to Sunday = 6

Number of oranges left on Sunday
= 34 - (5 x 6)
= 34 - 30
= 4

Number of starfruits left on Sunday
= 14 - (1 x 6)
= 14 - 6
= 8

Number of starfruits more than oranges
= 8 - 4
= 4
