Diana bought 19 starfruits and 13 pears on Friday. Each day, she ate 3 starfruits and 1 pear. She started eating her fruits on Saturday.

The number of pears and starfruits in the end is equal.

Diana ate for 3 days from Saturday onwards.  At the end of Monday, there would be an equal number of starfruits and pears left.

Number of days from Saturday to Tuesday = 4

Number of starfruits left on Tuesday
= 19 - (3 x 4)
= 19 - 12
= 7

Number of pears left on Tuesday
= 13 - (1 x 4)
= 13 - 4
= 9

= 2
