The number of starfruits and mangoes in the end is equal.

21 - 3 u = 13 - 1 u

Wendy ate for 4 days from Monday onwards.  At the end of Thursday, there would be an equal number of mangoes and starfruits left.

Number of days from Monday to Friday = 5

Number of mangoes left on Friday
= 21 - (3 x 5)
= 21 - 15
= 6

Number of starfruits left on Friday
= 13 - (1 x 5)
= 13 - 5
= 8
