Length of cloth for 9 big streamers
= 76 - 24.97
= 51.03 m

Length of cloth to make 1 big streamer
= 51.03 ÷ 9
= 5.67 m

= 9 - 5
= 4

Length of cloth that he was short of
= Length of 4 big streamers
= 4 x 5.67
= 22.68 m
