At first, Ahmad, Abi and Oscar had some lollipops in the ratio 6 : 4 : 5 respectively. Ahmad had 318 lollipops. Then he gave all his lollipops to Abi and Oscar. After receiving the lollipops from Ahmad, Abi and Oscar had the same number of lollipops. How many lollipops did Abi receive from Ahmad?

Total number of lollipops = 30 u

Number of lollipops that Abi had in the end 
= 30 u ÷ 2
= 15 u

Number of lollipops that Ahmad had at first = 6 u 

6 u = 318

1 u = 318 ÷ 6 = 53

Number of lollipops that Abi received from Ahmad
= 15 u - 8 u
= 7 u
= 7 x 53
= 371
