City N and City P are 340 km apart. At 4.42 p.m., Perry is travelling at a uniform speed left City N for City P while Oscar set off from City P to City N along the same road at a uniform speed, which was 10 km/h slower than that of Perry. The two met at 6.42 p.m.

= (170 + 10) ÷ 2

= 160 km

= 340 - 160
