= 1000 + 4 x 100

2 kg = 2000 g

10 intervals → 1 kg = 1000 g
1 interval → 1000 ÷ 10 = 100 g

Mass of the banana and the pineapple
= 2000 + 7 x 100
= 2000 + 700

Mass of the banana
= 2 u
= 2 x 700
= 1400 g
