= 24 ÷ 6
= 4

Number of sets of 8 kg of passion fruits
= 24 ÷ 8
= 3

Difference in price of guavas and passion fruits in one set
= 4 x 8 - 3 x 5
= 32 - 15
= $17

Number of sets
= 102 ÷ 17
= 6

Mass of guavas and passion fruits in one set
= 24 + 24
= 48 kg

Total mass of fruits bought
= 6 x 48
= 288 kg

LCM of 8 and 5 = 40

Number of sets of 6 kg of guavas to be bought with $40
= 40 ÷ 8
= 5

Mass of 5 sets of 6 kg of guavas
= 5 x 6

= 40 ÷ 5
= 8

Mass of 8 sets of 8 kg of passion fruits
= 8 x 8
