LCM of 2 and 4 = 4

One set = 4 kg of pomegranates and 4 kg of chikoos

Number of sets of 2 kg of pomegranates
= 4 ÷ 2
= 2

Number of sets of 4 kg of chikoos
= 4 ÷ 4
= 1

Difference in price of pomegranates and chikoos in one set
= 2 x 15 - 1 x 10
= 30 - 10
= $20

Number of sets
= 100 ÷ 20
= 5

Mass of pomegranates and chikoos in one set
= 4 + 4
= 8 kg

Total mass of fruits bought
= 5 x 8
= 40 kg

LCM of 15 and 10 = 30

Number of sets of 2 kg of pomegranates to be bought with $30
= 30 ÷ 15
= 2

Mass of 2 sets of 2 kg of pomegranates
= 2 x 2
= 4 kg

Number of sets of 4 kg of pomegranates to be bought with $30
= 30 ÷ 10
= 3

Mass of 3 sets of 4 kg of chikoos
= 3 x 4
= 12 kg

Mass of pomegranates : Mass of chikoos 
4 : 12 _(÷4)
1 : 3
