Ian and Liam started jogging from the same point. Liam started jogging 10 minutes earlier than Ian. Ian's jogging speed was 300 m/min and Liam's jogging speed was 100 m/min. They went in the same direction and did not change their speeds throughout.

Distance that Ian covered more than Liam per min

= 1000 ÷ 200

Time that Liam would had jogged when Ian caught up with him
= 5 + 10
= 15 min

Distance that Liam would have jogged when Ian caught up with him
= 15 x 100
= 1500 m
