John and Carl started jogging from the same point. Carl started jogging 5 minutes earlier than John. John's jogging speed was 350 m/min and Carl's jogging speed was 100 m/min. They went in the same direction and did not change their speeds throughout.

= 2 + 5
= 7 min

Distance that Carl would have jogged when John caught up with him
= 7 x 100
= 700 m
