The total number of cranberry buns made up 42% of the total number of buns they made. How many apricot buns did they make altogether?

Number of apricot buns in percent
= 100% - 42%
= 58%

1 u + 32 + 1 p = 42% --- (1)
1 u + 1 p + 192 = 58% --- (2)

58% - 42% = 192 - 32
16% = 160

1% = 160 ÷ 16 = 10

Number of apricot buns that they made altogether
= 58%
= 58 x 10
