Barbara and Eva made some cheese puffs and vanilla puffs. Barbara made 20 more cheese puffs than vanilla puffs. Eva made 200 more vanilla puffs than cheese puffs. The total number of cheese puffs made up 20% of the total number of puffs they made. How many cheese puffs did they make altogether?

Number of vanilla puffs = 1 u
Number of cheese puffs = 1 u + 20

Eva
Number of cheese puffs = 1 p
Number of vanilla puffs = 1 p + 200

Number of vanilla puffs in percent
= 100% - 20%
= 80%

1 u + 20 + 1 p = 20% --- (1)
1 u + 1 p + 200 = 80% --- (2)

80% - 20% = 200 - 20
60% = 180

1% = 180 ÷ 60 = 3

Number of cheese puffs that they made altogether
= 20%
= 20 x 3
= 60
