Number of skirts that Diana completed for from Monday to Sunday on the first week
= 5 x 6 + 2 x 9 
= 30 + 18
= 48

Number of skirts left to sew
= 218 - 48
= 170

Number of skirts that Diana could sew per week from second week onwards
= 5 x 6 + 2 x 9
= 30 + 18
= 48

Number of weeks that Diana needed to sew 170 skirts
= 170 ÷ 48
= 3 r 26

Number of days that Diana needed to sew 26 skirts
= 26 ÷ 6
= 4 r 2

Diana needed 1 more day to finish sewing the remaining 2 skirts.
