Number of skirts that Esther completed for from Tuesday to Sunday on the first week
= 4 x 6 + 2 x 9 
= 24 + 18
= 42

Number of skirts left to sew
= 159 - 42
= 117

Number of skirts that Esther could sew per week from second week onwards
= 5 x 6 + 2 x 9
= 30 + 18
= 48

Number of weeks that Esther needed to sew 117 skirts
= 117 ÷ 48
= 2 r 21

Number of days that Esther needed to sew 21 skirts
= 21 ÷ 6
= 3 r 3

Esther needed 1 more day to finish sewing the remaining 3 skirts.
