Hilda had to sew 74 dresses. She sewed 4 dresses each day from Monday to Friday and 11 each day on Saturday and Sunday. Starting on a Friday, on which day of the week did Hilda finish sewing all the dresses? Give your answer in number. (Eg Mon = 1)
Number of weekdays that Hilda sewed on the first week = 1

Number of dresses that Hilda completed for from Friday to Sunday on the first week
= 1 x 4 + 2 x 11 
= 4 + 22
= 26

Number of dresses left to sew
= 74 - 26
= 48

Number of dresses that Hilda could sew per week from second week onwards
= 5 x 4 + 2 x 11
= 20 + 22
= 42

Number of weeks that Hilda needed to sew 48 dresses
= 48 ÷ 42
= 1 r 6

Number of days that Hilda needed to sew 6 dresses
= 6 ÷ 4
= 1 r 2

Hilda needed 1 more day to finish sewing the remaining 2 dresses.
