Number of shirts that Cathy completed for from Monday to Sunday on the first week
= 5 x 8 + 2 x 11 
= 40 + 22
= 62

Number of shirts left to sew
= 276 - 62
= 214

Number of shirts that Cathy could sew per week from second week onwards
= 5 x 8 + 2 x 11
= 40 + 22
= 62

Number of weeks that Cathy needed to sew 214 shirts
= 214 ÷ 62
= 3 r 28

Number of days that Cathy needed to sew 28 shirts
= 28 ÷ 8
= 3 r 4

Cathy needed 1 more day to finish sewing the remaining 4 shirts.
