Lynn had to sew 128 blouses. She sewed 7 blouses each day from Monday to Friday and 14 each day on Saturday and Sunday. Starting on a Thursday, on which day of the week did Lynn finish sewing all the blouses? Give your answer in number. (Eg Mon = 1)
Number of weekdays that Lynn sewed on the first week = 2

Number of blouses that Lynn completed for from Thursday to Sunday on the first week
= 2 x 7 + 2 x 14 
= 14 + 28
= 42

Number of blouses left to sew
= 128 - 42
= 86

Number of blouses that Lynn could sew per week from second week onwards
= 5 x 7 + 2 x 14
= 35 + 28
= 63

Number of weeks that Lynn needed to sew 86 blouses
= 86 ÷ 63
= 1 r 23

Number of days that Lynn needed to sew 23 blouses
= 23 ÷ 7
= 3 r 2

Lynn needed 1 more day to finish sewing the remaining 2 blouses.
