They collected $7 for a small cup of soda and $10 for a big cup of soda.

The table shows the number of cups sold by three of the teams.

3. Team K sold as many cups of soda as Team M but collected $6 less. How many small cups of soda did Team M sell?

= $135

Amount collected by Team K
= 14 x 7 + 9 x 10
= 98 + 90
= $188

Amount collected by Team L
= 7 x 7 + 13 x 10
= 49 + 130
= $179

Team J collected the least money.

Since Team K and Team M sold the same number of cups but Team K collected $6 less, it means that Team M sold more big cups than Team K.

Difference in the amount collected for every one extra big cup sold by Team M
= 10 - 7
= $3

Number of extra big cups sold by Team M
= 6 ÷ 3
= 2

Number of small cups sold by Team M
= 14 - 2
= 12
