They collected $3 for a small cup of french fries and $6 for a big cup of french fries.

The table shows the number of cups sold by three of the teams.

= $66

Amount collected by Team X
= 12 x 3 + 9 x 6
= 36 + 54
= $90

Amount collected by Team Y
= 7 x 3 + 11 x 6
= 21 + 66
= $87

Team W collected the least money.

Since Team X and Team Z sold the same number of cups but Team X collected $18 less, it means that Team Z sold more big cups than Team X.

Difference in the total amount collected between Team X and Team Z = $18

Difference in the amount collected for every one extra big cup sold by Team Z
= 6 - 3
= $3

Number of extra big cups sold by Team Z
= 18 ÷ 3
= 6

Number of small cups sold by Team Z
= 12 - 6
= 6
