They collected $5 for a small cup of ice cream and $9 for a big cup of ice cream.

The table shows the number of cups sold by three of the teams.

= 14 x 5 + 9 x 9
= 70 + 81
= $151

Amount collected by Team V
= 7 x 5 + 12 x 9
= 35 + 108
= $143

Team T collected the least money.

Since Team U and Team W sold the same number of cups but Team U collected $20 less, it means that Team W sold more big cups than Team U.

Difference in the amount collected for every one extra big cup sold by Team W
= 9 - 5
= $4

Number of extra big cups sold by Team W
= 20 ÷ 4
= 5

Number of small cups sold by Team W
= 14 - 5
= 9
