They collected $7 for a small cup of iced milo and $10 for a big cup of iced milo.

The table shows the number of cups sold by three of the teams.

3. Team D sold as many cups of iced milo as Team F but collected $12 less. How many small cups of iced milo did Team F sell?

= $135

Amount collected by Team D
= 11 x 7 + 7 x 10
= 77 + 70
= $147

Amount collected by Team E
= 6 x 7 + 10 x 10
= 42 + 100
= $142

Team C collected the least money.

Since Team D and Team F sold the same number of cups but Team D collected $12 less, it means that Team F sold more big cups than Team D.

Difference in the amount collected for every one extra big cup sold by Team F
= 10 - 7
= $3

Number of extra big cups sold by Team F
= 12 ÷ 3
= 4

Number of small cups sold by Team F
= 11 - 4
= 7
