They collected $3 for a small cup of lemonade and $6 for a big cup of lemonade.

The table shows the number of cups sold by three of the teams.

3. Team G sold as many cups of lemonade as Team J but collected $15 less. How many small cups of lemonade did Team J sell?

= $60

Amount collected by Team G
= 12 x 3 + 9 x 6
= 36 + 54
= $90

Amount collected by Team H
= 8 x 3 + 10 x 6
= 24 + 60
= $84

Team F collected the least money.

Since Team G and Team J sold the same number of cups but Team G collected $15 less, it means that Team J sold more big cups than Team G.

Difference in the amount collected for every one extra big cup sold by Team J
= 6 - 3
= $3

Number of extra big cups sold by Team J
= 15 ÷ 3
= 5

Number of small cups sold by Team J
= 12 - 5
= 7
