They collected $8 for a small cup of nuggets and $10 for a big cup of nuggets.

The table shows the number of cups sold by three of the teams.

= 12 x 8 + 9 x 10
= 96 + 90
= $186

Amount collected by Team T
= 9 x 8 + 10 x 10
= 72 + 100
= $172

Team R collected the least money.

Difference in the amount collected for every one extra big cup sold by Team U
= 10 - 8
= $2

Number of extra big cups sold by Team U
= 16 ÷ 2
= 8

Number of small cups sold by Team U
= 12 - 8
= 4
