They collected $5 for a small cup of coke and $7 for a big cup of coke.

The table shows the number of cups sold by three of the teams.

3. Team V sold as many cups of coke as Team S but collected $14 more. How many big cups of coke did Team V sell?

= $103

Amount collected by Team T
= 13 x 5 + 8 x 7
= 65 + 56
= $121

Amount collected by Team U
= 10 x 5 + 10 x 7
= 50 + 70
= $120

Team T collected the most money.

Since Team V and Team S sold the same number of cups but Team S collected $14 more, it means that Team V sold more big cups than Team S.

Difference in the total amount collected between Team V and Team S = $14

Difference in the amount collected for every one extra big cup sold by Team V
= 7 - 5
= $2

Number of extra big cups sold by Team V
= 14 ÷ 2
= 7

Number of big cups sold by Team V
= 4 + 7
= 11
