Cost of 1 windbreaker = 2 u

Fraction of Sabrina's money spent on each blouse

= ¹₂₄

¹₆ of her money = 4 u
⁵₆ of her money = 5 x 4 u = 20 u

Sabrina's remaining money = 20 u

Cost of the ring
= ⁴₅ x 20 u
= 16 u

Amount that Sabrina spent more on the ring than on the 2 blouses
= 16 u - 2 u
= 14 u

14 u = 196

1 u = 196 ÷ 14 = 14

⁶₆ of her money = 6 x 4 u = 24 u
