Cost of 1 jacket = 2 u

Fraction of Pamela's money spent on each windbreaker

= ¹₅₆

¹₈ of her money = 7 u
⁷₈ of her money = 7 x 7 u = 49 u

Pamela's remaining money = 49 u

Cost of the necklace
= ¹₄ x 49 u
= 12.25 u

Amount that Pamela spent more on the necklace than on the 5 windbreakers
= 12.25 u - 5 u
= 7.25 u

7.25 u = 108.75

1 u = 108.75 ÷ 7.25 = 15
