Fraction of Tiffany's money spent on each windbreaker
= ¹₆ x ¹₄
= ¹₂₄

¹₄ of her money = 6 u
³₄ of her money = 3 x 6 u = 18 u

Tiffany's remaining money = 18 u

Cost of the ring
= ⁵₆ x 18 u
= 15 u

Amount that Tiffany spent more on the ring than on the 3 windbreakers
= 15 u - 3 u
= 12 u

12 u = 192

1 u = 192 ÷ 12 = 16
