Cost of 4 coats
= 4 x 1 u

Cost of 1 sweater = 2 u

Cost of 1 sweater and 4 coats
= 2 u + 4 u

= ¹₅₄

¹₉ of her money = 6 u
⁸₉ of her money = 8 x 6 u = 48 u

Risa's remaining money = 48 u

Cost of the ring
= ¹₂ x 48 u
= 24 u

Amount that Risa spent more on the ring than on the 4 coats
= 24 u - 4 u
= 20 u

20 u = 320

1 u = 320 ÷ 20 = 16

⁹₉ of her money = 9 x 6 u = 54 u

Amount that Risa had at first
