Cost of 1 jacket = 2 u

Fraction of Ivory's money spent on each sweater

= ¹₂₈

¹₇ of her money = 4 u
⁶₇ of her money = 6 x 4 u = 24 u

Ivory's remaining money = 24 u

Cost of the bracelet
= ³₄ x 24 u
= 18 u

Amount that Ivory spent more on the bracelet than on the 2 sweaters
= 18 u - 2 u
= 16 u

16 u = 272

1 u = 272 ÷ 16 = 17

⁷₇ of her money = 7 x 4 u = 28 u
