= ¹₁₆

¹₄ of her money = 4 u
³₄ of her money = 3 x 4 u = 12 u

Elyse's remaining money = 12 u

Cost of the necklace
= ⁵₆ x 12 u
= 10 u

Amount that Elyse spent more on the necklace than on the 2 dresses
= 10 u - 2 u
= 8 u

8 u = 192

1 u = 192 ÷ 8 = 24
