Cost of 2 jumpsuits
= 2 x 1 u
= 2 u

Cost of 1 blazer = 3 u

Cost of 1 blazer and 2 jumpsuits
= 3 u + 2 u
= 5 u

Fraction of Xylia's money spent on each jumpsuit
= ¹₅ x ¹₃
= ¹₁₅

¹₃ of her money = 5 u
²₃ of her money = 2 x 5 u = 10 u

Xylia's remaining money = 10 u

Cost of the ring
= ⁵₈ x 10 u
= 6.25 u

Amount that Xylia spent more on the ring than on the 2 jumpsuits
= 6.25 u - 2 u
= 4.25 u

4.25 u = 59.5

1 u = 59.5 ÷ 4.25 = 14
