⁷₈ of her money = 7 x 6 u = 42 u

Usha's remaining money = 42 u

Cost of the necklace
= ³₅ x 42 u
= 25.2 u

Amount that Usha spent more on the necklace than on the 4 skirts
= 25.2 u - 4 u
= 21.2 u

21.2 u = 487.6

1 u = 487.6 ÷ 21.2 = 23
