Cost of 5 sweaters
= 5 x 1 u

Cost of 1 jacket = 2 u

Cost of 1 jacket and 5 sweaters
= 2 u + 5 u

Fraction of Winnie's money spent on each sweater
= ¹₇ x ¹₈
= ¹₅₆

¹₈ of her money = 7 u
⁷₈ of her money = 7 x 7 u = 49 u

Winnie's remaining money = 49 u

Cost of the bracelet
= ¹₂ x 49 u
= 24.5 u

Amount that Winnie spent more on the bracelet than on the 5 sweaters
= 24.5 u - 5 u
= 19.5 u

19.5 u = 195

1 u = 195 ÷ 19.5 = 10

⁸₈ of her money = 8 x 7 u = 56 u
