Three men, Asa, Ben and Rey had the same number of notes. Ben and Asa each had of mix of $100-notes and $20-notes. Ben had 5 $20-notes while Asa had 24 $20-notes. Rey had only $100-notes.

1. Of the three men, who had the least money? 
2. What was the difference in the total value of Ben and Asa's notes? 
3. Asa used all his $100-notes to buy a souvenir. Rey then had $2520 more than Asa. How many $100-notes did Rey have?

The three men had the same number of notes.
$20-notes have a lower denomination than $100-notes.

Asa had more $20-notes than Ben while Rey had only the $100-notes.  

Since Asa had the most number of $20-notes, he had the least money.

(b)
Difference in the number of notes of different values
= 24 - 5
= 19

Difference in the value of $100-note and $20-note
= 100 - 20
= $80

Difference in the total value of Ben's and Asa's notes
= 19 x 80
= $1520

(c)
Value of $20-notes that Asa had left
= 24 x 20
= $480

Total value that Rey had
= 2520 + 480
= $3000

Number of $100-notes that Rey had
= 3000 ÷ 100
= 30
